I have a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 3B. She underwent 8 cycles of TC chemo and 30 days of radiation.
She then underwent a bilateral mastectomy. She also had infected lymph nodes. BTW, she does not have the BRCA gene.
2 weeks ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer in her lungs. She is now on Xeloda, 1650 mg’s 2 x’s a day.
I am looking for any advice, 2nd opinions, alternative medicines, surgeons, referrals, or anything you can help with. It would be more than greatly appreciated. She is very young, 36 years old with young children. I’m hoping you have some really good advice for me to share with her.
She is willing to travel throughout North America.
